Waka Flocka Joins Anti-Bullying Campaign

There’s always this double-edged sword on my conscience when you see “gangsta rappers” doing good things outside of their music. Some people might be perplexed to see rappers giving away turkeys on Thanksgiving, gifts on Christmas, seeing them in church on Sundays (which I have), or in this case, seeing Waka Flocka joining an anti-bullying campaign.

Part of me says that you have to live what you want to be in every facet in your life. I’m not trying to bash Waka in this post. I feel like what he’s doing is admirable but the biggest agent of change is through his music. If he were to make a song dedicated to anti-bullying, it might make more of a change rather than just posing on stage.

If you want to buy the snapback that Flocka is rocking which will support the PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, you can cop it here.

Waka Flocka Disses Wiz Khalifa

Tell ‘em why you mad Waka!

While speaking on DJ Kay Slay’s radio show, Waka Flocka had another “Fuck The Industry” moment as he called out fellow rapper Wiz Khalifa for having “no swag” and “hyping themselves up to the top.” Not wise words from a decent man. Money brings envy I suppose. It can’t be Amber Rose because there are a bunch of women in ATL that are ten times better than her. Anyway, this won’t escalate. I can’t see Wiz responding to this, he’s making too much money.
