This will appear as a bonus track on Stalley’s Savage Journey to the American Dream which should be dropping any minute now. Ross’ verse is way better than Stalley’s on this.
Even though this is just a little snippet of the track, I like the way this is sounding. It might be for the ladies, but that’s been Tip’s bread and butter lately. This track will be on the netz this Monday so stay tuned.
If you’ve never watched a Nardwaur interview then you should check all them out. He always does great research on the people he interviews. Living in Atlanta, I’ve heard of all these groups hanging with the locals that he mentions to young Jeezy. He shouts out Busy Bee, best smothered chicken in the world.
I can’t relate but we all know growing up in the spotlight is tough. In many situations, people expect you to make mature decisions while you’re still trying to grow into a man/woman. Some perfect examples are LeBron with “the decision,” and Dwight Howard with the handling of his trade speculation. Everyone expects behavior to be perfect but if that mirror was facing themselves could they handle the spotlight as well.
In this video, Chris reflects on how his personal decisions have shaped people to judge his character and I must admit, the lyrics, besides all the curses, do him some justice. This would be a good interlude track on his upcoming album, Fortune.
If T.I. verse wasn’t so tough on this track, this post would never make it into existence. Here, Iggy performs the track with her boss, T.I., for the first time in Atlanta. Is it me, or is it time for us to receive some new music from Tip and not in the form of a guest appearance?
